INSTALLING RASCALRAT ON WINDOWS (EASIEST METHOD)
1. Install ShadowSuite from the links below. ShadowSuite makes management of installed tools easier including RascalRAT
2. Extract contents in downloaded ZIP file to a folder with sample name "ShadowSuite"
3. Open the folder and launch run.exe if you are on Windows
4. On the dashboard's sidebar, select RascalRAT and enter a token to unlock the tool. You can obtain token with this link:
5. Click 'Install' button after pasting the token and wait a few minutes to finish the installation.
6. After successfully installing RascalRAT, Launch the tool. A new sub-window will be opened.
7. Edit the configuration and Generate the RAT malware.
(MAKE SURE YOU DON'T SHARE THE MALWARE TO UNAUTHORISED DEVICES)
To connect and manage all infected devices:
8. Register or log into your localtonet.com or other tunnel servvices
9. Go to http section and create a http tunnel, host=127.0.0.1, port=5200
10. Click 'Create' and start the tunnel (Green play button)
11. Download localtonet binary which will connect the domain you have started to RascalRAT's portal.
12. Launch localtonet.exe or binary after downloading, (paste your localtonet or tunnel token when asked)
13. Go back to RascalRAT in ShadowSuite application, click Start Portal
If you are patient enough for the process to finish, your password would be cracked and shown at the bottom similar to the screenshot above.
